Dressing Up the Church



We usually think of dressing up for church, but, the other day, I saw that St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville was dressed up itself. The venerable building is one of the architectural treasures that make Fayetteville such an interesting place. The first Episcopal congregation began meeting in 1848. The current church complex has developed over the years with construction beginning in 1878. The wood and brick worship space was completed in 1888 and has grown over the years to become a facility used in many ways by the congregation and the community.


I'm not sure why the blossoms were attached to the front of the church Monday afternoon, but they sure made a great photo op!
