Walton Art Center has a program called Artosphere that runs throughout the month of May and has events planned for our major towns. This weekend the “show” will be centered in Bentonville at their First Friday celebration and on Saturday the Farmers Market which will feature music by Trout Fishing in America at 9 a.m. and The Sauce Boss at 11 a.m. There will be a native plant sale at Compton Gardens in celebration of National Public Garden Days (7th and 8th) with music by Harmonious Wail on Saturday from 1-3. Crystal Bridges at the Massy has a special exhibit, Looking at Our Landscape, running this entire month as well.
Sunday, Artosphere will move to the Jones Center in Springdale with a showing of the film A Man Called Pearl. It will be shown later at Bentonville Library (May 10), Rogers Library (May 12), and Hobbs State Park Visitors Center (May 13).
Other events, including a Fayetteville Trail Mix Concert Tour on the 16th, are coming up all month long! The ones listed here are all free and open to the public.
