Baseball and Daffodils

It may be March, but the baseball season has already begun!  Not only are the Arkansas Razorbacks off to a running start with a 6 to 1 record, but the Northwest Arkansas Naturals are looking forward to opening day.  If you enjoy baseball, need a part time job, and have a little free time, check out their job fair this Saturday, March 6, 2010, 9a.m to noon.

For my part, I agree with one of my best friends who said baseball is for warm summer evenings.  Add in a hotdog, cold drink, and fireworks to end the evening … hurray for the “boys of summer”!  But it will be awhile before the ping of bats at Arvest Stadium is a regular occurrence.

It’s still March and my daffodils are pushing up their heads in the garden.  The weather says spring even though there are still another 16 days of winter.  Guess I’ll keep my snow picture up on my Facebook page a little while longer.
