A Community That Cares

One of the good things about NWA is the ready response of our people to the needs of others.  While there are many organizations, both national and local, addressing the varied concerns of our community, there are also spontaneous outpourings of generosity when there is a specific crisis to be faced.

I heard about one such community benefit this morning on public radio station KUAF’s local news.  This event is planned for Friday, March 12, to help Casey (Young) Wolfe and her family.  Casey, a Rogers elementary school teacher, is fighting cancer.  The proceeds of this dinner and silent auction will go to help with her medical bills.

"Casey's Cancer Posse" Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction

Location: Kirksey Middle School
2923 South 1st. Street, Rogers

Tickets will be $15/$10 the night of the event

There is still plenty of time to put this worthy cause on your calendar!
